Membership Plans Overview

VBC offers three plan tiers—Bronze, Silver, and Gold—to fit a variety of veteran needs and budgets. Each plan provides increasing levels of support, from essential services to full insurance coverage and ceremonial assistance.

Bronze Plan

$12.00 Annually (Just $1/month)

Includes:

• Personalized Membership Card mailed to your home

• Free Benefits Consultation

• Navigation Support for existing VA benefits

• Assistance Obtaining DD-214 (Discharge Documentation)

• Help Locating Medical Records

• Suicide Prevention Support

$15.00 / Month

Includes everything in the Bronze Plan, plus:

• Access to Pro Bono Attorneys (Family Law, Debt Issues)

• Discharge Upgrade Assistance

• VexLex Legal Support – legal assistance tailored to veterans’ needs

 Gold Plan

$30.00 / Month
(Formerly $29.99 – now expanded)

Includes everything in the Silver Plan, plus:

• Casket Paid-in-Full Guarantee

• 21-Gun Salute Ceremony Coordination

 Health & Legal Benefits (from previous policy)

• Veteran Benefits Consultation – Expert review and guidance on VA entitlements

• Financial Assistance – Help managing finances, disability claims, pensions, and survivor benefits

• Legal Services – Discounted legal help with VA claims, appeals, and veterans' rights

Eligibility

All U.S. veterans eligible for benefits through the VA system may apply. Proof of military service and relevant VA documentation is required for enrollment.

Coverage Period

• Bronze Plan: Coverage begins immediately upon receipt of payment and is valid for 12 months. The plan renews automatically each year unless canceled.

• Silver Plan: Coverage begins once the first monthly payment is received and remains active with ongoing monthly payments. The plan renews automatically each month unless canceled.

• Gold Plan: Coverage begins upon receipt and processing of the first monthly payment. The plan remains active with timely monthly payments and renews automatically unless canceled.

 

 

2. Updated Cancellations Section

Cancellations & Refunds

• You may cancel your plan at any time by logging into your account on the VBC platform.

• If canceled within the first 30 days, a full refund will be issued.

• After 30 days, cancellations stop future charges, but no refunds are issued for prior payments.

Payment & Policy Terms

• Bronze Plan: $12.00 annually, billed once per year

• Silver Plan: $15.00/month, paid monthly

• Gold Plan: $30.00/month, paid monthly

All payments can be made by credit card, debit card, or bank transfer. Monthly plans renew automatically unless canceled.

Re-enrollment Policy

If a member cancels their plan and later wishes to re-enroll, the following conditions apply:

• All returning members are required to pay six (6) months in advance at the time of re-enrollment, regardless of which plan tier (Bronze, Silver, or Gold) they select.

• This advance payment is non-refundable and will be applied toward future coverage.

• Members are free to change their plan tier at any time while actively enrolled.

• Once a plan is canceled, the 6-month prepayment requirement will apply again for any future re-enrollment.

Example: A veteran cancels their Silver Plan in April. If they choose to rejoin in August, they must pay six months upfront to re-activate their membership, regardless of whether they return to Silver or switch to Bronze or Gold.
